Apprenticeships
Modern Apprenticeship Hospitality Programme
This is a work-based training programme with the hospitality employer, Glendola Leisure Group.
Nationally, the Glendola Group operation comprises of a network of bars, restaurants & nightclubs, employing some 450 individuals in sites across the UK.
If you are interested in accessing this training with the Glendola Group, please send us your CV and we will submit it to the Glendola Group Human Resources department for consideration.
Apprenticeship in Hospitality is currently includes:
- NVQ Level 2 in Hospitality: 10 units (4 mandatory, 6 optional)
- Key Skills in Communication Level 2;
- Application of Number Level 1
- Technical Certificates at Foundation Level in Health and Safety & Food Hygiene
The Advanced Apprenticeship in Hospitality includes:
- NVQ Level 3 in Hospitality: 8 units ( 5 mandatory, 3 optional)
- Key Skills in Communication Level 2;
- Application of Number Level 2;
- Information Technology Level 1
- Technical Certificates include a choice from two of the following;
- Intermediate Level in Health and Safety
- Intermediate Level Food Hygiene
- Wines Spirits and other Alcoholic Beverages Level 2
- British Institute of Innkeepers, Licensee Certificate
