KIS business wins Haringey Business Award

KIS-supported business wins
“Best New Business Award 2006”

Stars In The Sky - a friendship and dating club for people with learning difficulties - won the Best New Business Award at the Haringey City Growth Business Awards held on Thursday, 16th March 2006.

Stars In The Sky was set up with help, advice and funding from KIS Training Ltd and The Bridge, New Deal For Communities.

The owners of Stars In The Sky - Pauline Geipel and Lolita Jones - first visited KIS Training in November 2004 with the unique idea of starting up a dating club for people with learning difficulties.
