The second stage of the ‘Good for Business’ campaign started this month with radio advertising targeted at employers. The objective of the campaign is to increase the number of Apprenticeships available, in particular to those aged 16-18 by engaging employers and explaining the business benefits that apprentices can bring to an organisation.
Later this month direct mail will go out to the private sector. This will be staggered over a number of weeks from 25 January 2010 to coincide with activity taking place around Apprenticeship Week. The direct mail and PR activity will also be supported by national press and sector press advertising.
