The ‘must-haves’ for the Recruitment / Information Advice and Guidance Officer role:
- Understanding of the support required to progress people into employment.
- Awareness and understanding of the workings of the UK job market.
- Computer literate
- Experience of delivering client-focussed services
- Experience of managing client-focused contracts
- NVQ level 3 Advice & Guidance
- NVQ level 4 Advice & Guidance
Your objectives for the Recruitment / Information Advice and Guidance Officer role:
To deliver recruitment /information, advice and guidance service to local clients seeking employment support advice, training and support into work and clients currently employed looking to enhance existing skills and qualification.
To recruit learners by weekly attendance at Job Centre, Connexions and other recruitment venues.
To plan and attend career events, open days & marketing events within London
Develop the organisation capacity and capability to provide an impartial service to clients.
Support the improvement of the service through developing practice and sharing best practice with partners, colleagues and sub-contractors.

- An understanding of diverse communities, referral and support agencies and government funded programmes.
